Information to Note
Where is this wedding and how do I get there?
Our wedding will be held on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia, Canada. It's a quick ferry ride from Vancouver or Victoria, CA, for both cars and foot passengers. Others may choose to take a Seaplane. We will provide detailed timeline, travel and lodging information with formal invitations, allowing guests ample time to make arrangements.
How many days is it?
We want to maximize time with family and friends, and ask you to join us for a weekend, or longer! We encourage guests to take time to explore the island, a place that is close to our hearts. Festivities will begin the afternoon of Friday, July 24th; with the ceremony, reception and afterparty taking place Saturday, July 25th; followed by a day of rest and recovery on Sunday, July 26th.
Detailed timelines and additional information will be provided with formal invitations.
Are kids allowed to join?
While we welcome kids on Friday and Sunday, Saturday's ceremony, reception and afterparty will be child-free due to maximum venue capacities. However, we can help to arrange child-care to watch your little ones, so please let us know as soon as possible if you plan to bring children.
When will you provide more information?
Soon! Once we collect initial guest mailing addresses we will send out formal invitations with detailed information. If you plan to attend, please provide us with your mailing address. We understand it can be a great undertaking to join us for a weekend in another country, and if you will be unable to join us, please drop us a note to let us know.
