Travel + Lodging Introduction

July is a great time of year to be in Canada’s Southern Gulf Islands, and we’re excited to spend time all together there. We would like to thank you profusely in advance for making your way to this destination on our behalf.

We are excited to spend time together with everyone as much as we can throughout the week and weekend, and will be on Salt Spring from Wednesday, July 22nd through Monday, July 27th. If your schedule allows, and you feel inspired to do so, we encourage everyone to consider booking in additional time before or after the scheduled event dates to take the opportunity to explore this unique part of the world! 

While the internet makes figuring out routes and lodging fairly easy for travel these days, we want to give everyone some guidance. Hopefully the information in the tabs above is enough to get you set!

*A QUICK NOTE ABOUT PRICES + THE CANADIAN DOLLAR

Although rates fluctuate daily, the Canadian dollar, CAD, trades around $0.70 cents to every $1.00 USD recently. Keep in mind when evaluating prices in CAD that the USD goes further in Canada than in the US. Yay for Maple Bucks!

TIMING

Please plan to arrive as early as Thursday, July 23nd, no later than Friday July 24th, and plan to stay through at least 12:00pm on Sunday, July 26th if you are able.

As a reminder, this is the scheduled plan of wedding specific events:

Friday, July 24th: Festivities begin at 7pm

Saturday, July 25th: Ceremony, reception and afterparty, 2-11pm

Sunday, July 26th: Brunch, games and relaxation, from 10am onward
